Once you’ve landed a job, there’s one thing Fortune 500 executive advisor and author of The CEO of You Andrew Wittman said you must bring with you:

“Come in with an entrepreneurial mindset instead of an employee mindset. So, you want to come in and you want to play to win,” Wittman said.

Wittman said you may be working for someone else, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t think like a tycoon.

“I always call it ‘being an American and not an Ameri-can’t.’ So, I have a can-do attitude instead of coming up with all the reasons why we can’t do something. And if you literally have that mindset in an interview, people will be like, ‘Oh my gosh, we got to hire this person right now.’”
